Yamid, a third-generation coffee grower, purchased Bella Vista from his father 18 years ago. Today, they still work side by side, with Yamid crediting his father for everything he knows about coffee. This continuation of the family legacy offers hope for the future of coffee culture in the region.
Strategically located with breathtaking views, Bella Vista is surrounded by a natural forest reserve that serves as a crucial water source. Yamid's commitment to environmental is evident in preserving this untouched area. They primarily grow coffee, a variety of Pink Bourbon, complemented by banana, lemon, and avocado trees that provide shade and nutrients and contribute to the farm's self-sufficiency.
